OBITUARIES Robert O. Fickes, 61; Headed Philco-Ford Philadelphia (UPI)-Robert O. Fickes, 61, former president and chief executive officer of Philco-Ford, died yesterday of a heart attack in his apartment on Rittenhouse Square here Fickes, a native of Billings, and a graduate of Iowa State University, was a vice president of the Ford Motor before his affiliation with PhilcoFord. He became the president and chief executive of Philco-Ford in 1964 and was named chairman of the board in 1966. He was succeeded at PhilcoFord posts last Oct.

1 by Robert E. Hunter. Fickes joined General Electric Co. in 1930, and held various management positions including that of general manager of the automatic blanket, fan and clock departments. He was president and chief executive officer of the Elgin Watch Co.

and later held the same post with the Norge Division of Borg-Warner Corp. of Chicago. He was on the boards of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the University City Service Center, the Penn Mutual Life Insurance the United Fund of Philadelphia, the Franklin Institute, the Academy of Music, the Philadelphia Orchestra and Walker R. Hart, 75, Judge in Brooklyn Brooklyn -Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Supreme Court Justice Walker R. Hart of the Kings County Supreme Court, who died Tuesday at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital following a short illness.

Hart, 75, had been presiding justice of the Apellate Division of the Supreme Court for 10 years before reliquishing the post in 1960. He had served as a city councilman and alderman. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; a daughter, Mrs. Sybil Kooper; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Grennell, and four grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 10:30 AM tomorrow at Riverside Chapel, 1 Ocean Brooklyn, with burial in Washington Cemetery in Brooklyn.

Brian Sullivan, 49; Tenor Sang at Met Geneva (AP)- -Brian Sullivan, an American tenor whose career ranged from Broadway musicals to Wagnerian opera, has been found dead in the Rhone River here, police said today. They said the body was recovered yesterday near an iron grid that spans the river where it enters Lake Geneva, but they would not comment on the cause of death. Sullivan, 49, had come to Geneva to sing the role of Siegfried in Wagner's "Gotterdammerung" at the Grand Theatre, but Canadian singer Claude Heater got the part. Sullivan was Heater's understudy. Police said Sullivan had been living in a small downtown hotel and vanished shortly before or after the last performance of the opera June 9.

Sullivan spent 16 years with New York's Metropolitan Opera. His musical career ranged from Wagnerian opera to the Broadway musicals "Show Boat" and "Street Scene." He changed his name to Brian to comply with an Actors Equity prohibition against two members using the same name. He faced his first audience in a Los Angeles high school production of Gilbert and Sullivan's "Pirates of Penzance." Sullivan studied voice at the University of Southern California, which he entered on a football scholarship, and sang in the Metro-GoldwynMayer chorus. He served two years in the U.S. Army, 1943-1945, Journeying to Broadway, Sullivan received acclaim for his singing in "Street Scene," a Kurt Weill musical based on a play by Elmer Rice, and his portrayal of Gaylord Ravenal in Kern and Hammerstein's "Show Boat." He joined the Metropolitan Opera in 1948, making his debut in "Peter Grimes" by Benjamin Britten.

Kenneth Bratcher, board chairman of World-Wide Safety, a new company specializing in the application of computers, said in New York that Fickes was to sign a contract with the company Tuesday in New York.

Fickes was to head World-Wide at what Bratcher described as a "most lucrative" executive salary which included $125,000 annually, a stock bonus of $500,000, a percentage of profits and the right to name the board of directors. Bratcher said Fickes' death "was a tremendous loss to us." H. Tweed, at 83, Noted Lawyer In New York New York (AP) -Harrison Tweed, a noted lawyer, died Monday in New York Hospital. Tweed, 83, was the only lawyer to receive the distinguished service medals of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He had served as president of the Legal Aid Society of New York and the National Legal Aid Association and as chairman of the American Bar Association's Committee on Legal Aid.

He was a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. President Kennedy designated Tweed co-chairman of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law when Kennedy created it in 1963. He is survived by his third wife, the former Barbara Banning; their daughter, Sandra, of New York; two daughters by his first marriage; a sister; two grandsons, Nelson W. Aldrich Jr. and Tweed Roosevelt; a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
